OneNine5 Germany is live and (re)launched in Europe

This is a big moment for us here at OneNine5! Like most online businesses, Brexit really hasn't done our small business any favours. I won't bore you with the details but we have faced years of logistical and financial hurdles to ship our Eco-Conscious Travel Goods to EU customers.

I'm delighted to let you know that OneNine5 is now live in Germany and (re)launched across Europe. If you're an EU customer placing an order with us and wondering what this actually means, here's three bits of good news.

1. No more custom tax and duty fees

This is the big one! All orders to EU countries will now ship from our German warehouse, with zero customs or tax charges on our Eco-Conscious and award-winning travel goods.

Understandably, our customer service team heard from plenty of disgruntled customers across Europe over the past few years. We had no control over the duty and taxes charged when our shipments were processed by your local customs.

With your order dispatched from our German warehouse, you can buy in confidence with no unexpected surprises.

2. A lowered free-shipping threshold for European customers

In the age of Amazon Prime, we know most of you don't want to pay for shipping when you place an order. Whilst we can't compete with the giants like Amazon, we do try our best to keep shipping costs as low as possible for you.

Shipped from Germany, any orders of €40 or more will get free standard shipping.

3. Reduced freight CO2 emissions

We're committed to make positive changes and ensure that environmental sustainability at the heart of all we do at OneNine5.

Orders dispatched from Germany will reduce CO2 emissions, on average by 32%, compared to shipments from the UK into European countries.

If we aren't shipping to your country yet, get in touch and we'll try to make this happen for you. We're looking into ways we can expand our shipping across other countries in Europe.
