1. Where to Stay? 💤
QT – An old Hollywood film themed hotel with qwerky décor in central Sydney CBD (Market Street), in-room cocktail shakers and unlimited movies to watch for free. An excellent mid-range option for £120-£150/night with excellent access to transport across the whole city.
2. What to do/ see? 🗺
In Sydney: Explore the small independent boutiques in Gould street, grab a coffee and take on the Bondi to Coogee walk. Remember to take your swim gear for a dip in the Coogee lido and a nice cold schooner and a Nutella pizza in the Coogee Pavilion to finish.
Outside Sydney: The Blue Mountains. A 2.5 hour westbound train out of Sydney takes you to the Blue Mountains. With breath-taking views once home to the indigenous tribes which extend as far as the eye can see. Combining this with a distinct blue haze which originates from a fine mist of oil exuded by the eucalyptus trees. This truly is a sight to behold and a must see on your trip to Sydney.
3. Where to eat? 🍽
The Potting Shed, Alexandria, Surrey Hills. An instagrammable oasis in the middle of an industrial estate. Great for groups and cocktails but be sure to book. The Shed Burger and the Pineapple express got a thumbs up from us!
Mr Crackles – After a boozy night out in Sydney this was always our pitstop on the way home. A Sticky BBQ Pork roll for $15 on the way home used to be the weapon of choice. However The Bogan also hit the spot on several occasions. Drink responsibly kids...(and stop here in an uber).
4. Where to drink? ☕
The Glenmore. Whilst tourists will descend upon the Sydney Opera House for the uber expensive harbour side cocktails, you need to get yourself to the Glenmore. A multi-level pub with roof top bar and DJ. An amazing chilled destination that looks over the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour with unbelievable chicken wings. Do not miss this!

5. Where to take that Instagram worthy photo? 📸
Take a day trip to Manly, soak up some rays and be sure to get the ferry home at sunset for some magical Instagram shots. The View from the ferry looking onto the Harbour bridge and Sydney Opera House is the money shot!
