1. Where to Stay? 💤
It's only a 10 minute walk to Brussels Central train station & the perfect base if you plan to take the train and visit other Belgian cities. Saint-Géry also boasts some of the cities best nightlife and restaurants.
Heading into the Summer months, a lot of the bars and cafes offer outdoor seating to watch the world go by.
Brussels is a city you can explore on foot and if you're staying in Saint-Géry, you're only a short walk away from the main sights.
2. What to do/ see 🗺
Hop on a Lime Scooter and go explore
If the Lime Scooter hasn't made it your city yet then it's our favourite way to discover Brussels. Download the app and grab one of the scooters dotted all over the city. A word of warning - you might want to pre-plan the sight-seeing on your scooter. It's an uncomfortable journey taking the Lime Scooter over Brussels' cobbled streets.
Our favourite journey - head East from the city centre to Parc du Cinquantenaire.
3. Where to eat? 🍽
4. Where to drink? ☕
Brussels Beer Project, 188, Antoine Dansaert
Open from 2 to 10pm, Thurs-Sat - Brussels Beer Project is the perfect option to sample a range of beers. With 17 different taps they offer everything from IPAs to pale ales and even a coffee infused beer.
If you're unsure where to start, opt for the four sample glasses to find your favourite.
5. Where to take that Instagram worthy photo? 📸
Just over an hours walk (20 minute drive) north-west of the city centre, you'll find the Atomium in Heysel Park. This unusual architecture divides opinion but was designed to represent the structure of an iron molecule. Head to The Atomium on a sunny day and the sunlight bounces off this metallic structure making for some awesome photography.
